HeatGen™ is a ground source heat pump package specifically matched to UK housing, capable of providing all the heating and hot water needed without using supplementary direct electric heating.
Typically each house is fitted with a single borehole within the curtilidge of the property, coupled to a Dimplex ground source heat pump located either within the dwelling or housed in an external enclosure in the garden. EarthEnergy undertakes all the works necessary to 'replace the boiler' so that the heating engineer has a similar scope of works to that of a traditional system.
This 'one borehole per house' solution provides a bespoke designed ground loop matched to the heat loss of the house but at a fixed lump sum price per house for any programme of work, giving complete certainty over capital expenditure.
HeatGen™ is an affordable way to address fuel poverty in existing housing stock with no mains gas available; reducing fuel bills, improving the quality of life of tenants and significantly reducing carbon emissions.
New housing developments can readily incorporate HeatGen™ to meet planning obligations for on-site renewable energy and achieve compliance with Building Regulations and the Code for Sustainable Homes.
HeatGen™ is available with full asset leasing finance to cover the capital cost of the installation with payments spread over a period that suits the client's financial requirements.
LCBP2, SCHRI and CERT funding support HeatGen™ and we always evaluate the options to ensure the maximum grant allocation is achieved.
